Craig Clifford Albright was born on July 16, 1976, in Houston, Texas, and he effortlessly graced our world with his presence until his untimely passing on April 11, 2025. Known for his wit, charm, and a knack for telling corny jokes, Craig was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and loyal friend.

An alumnus of Texas A&M University, Craig earned his BBA in Information and Operations Management in the year 2000. Little did he know that this degree would serve as a springboard into a fruitful career as a technical consultant. For over two decades, he transformed enterprise software for companies including ION Group, CCA Consulting, SolArc, and capSpire, specializing in Energy Trading and Risk Management for notable companies such as BP Energy Company, Motiva, and Macquarie Bank, to name a few. His colleagues often remarked how his expertise was matched only by his humble demeanor and the laughter he brought to every project team.

Family was Craig's greatest treasure. He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon, with whom he shared many adventures, his two children, Caleb and Chloe, and his stepchildren, John, Luke, and Kate Henderson. He was adored by his parents, Charlotte and Charles Albright, his brother, Chuck, sister-in-law, Sherese, nieces, Zoe and Ava, and nephew, Lucian, as well as a large extended family. Together, they created a tapestry of cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Craig's life was rich in passion beyond his professional accomplishments. A beatmaster at heart, he loved drum machines, synthesizers, and digitizing vinyl to create new music. He could make the piano and keyboard dance under his fingers, while his talents on drums and guitar were equally impressive. Music wasn’t just a hobby for Craig; it was the heartbeat of his existence. Whether jamming with friends or chilling at home, he left a rhythm of joy in all he touched.

In his leisure time, Craig indulged in activities ranging from woodworking to whipping up delectable meals in the kitchen—he had a knack for creating magic with a scratch cookbook. He reveled in all things automotive, often found daydreaming about cars, particularly those that could go from zero to sixty in the blink of an eye. And let's not forget his early aspirations; he was a basketball aficionado, ambitious in his quest to dunk with flair.

Craig will be remembered for his professional prowess and the laughter, kindness, and wisdom he imparted to those around him. His unique blend of intelligence and generosity will be missed yet celebrated in the stories that friends and family will continue to share.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Second Baptist Church in Katy, Texas, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:30 PM CDT. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions to the MD Anderson Cancer Center as a testament to Craig's fighting spirit.

Craig’s life was a blend of laughter, love, and music that will echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
